Welcome to the Stone Church Volunteer Fire Department's website. With the dedication of all our past members and the current membership the Stone Church Volunteer Fire Department has been able to provide both Fire & EMS services to our community for the past 40 years.  Our currant roster consists of 29 members many of which are younger members including 4 junior firefighters so our future looks bright.  

 We are located in in the southern part of Ohio County in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. Our first response district covers 15.8 square miles and provides both Fire and EMS protection to 1650 people. Due to our location we respond to areas in both Ohio County and the northern part of Marshall County. We also provide mutual aid for the following VFD's - Triadelphia and Valley Grove in Ohio County and Dallas in Marshall County.  Our tanker is always available and has responded to calls in the following counties Ohio, Marshall, and Brooke in WV - Washington in Pa - Belmont in Ohio.  During our reponse to emergency situations, NIMS (National Incident Management System) and ICS (Incident Command System) are utilized.  Each member of our department that respond to calls have completed the appropriate NIMS courses. 

  Every member of this department is an unpaid volunteer - the Fire Chief, all of our Officers, our drivers of the apparatus, and all the firefighters and EMS personal are your neighbors and friends. Each of our members are highly trained and State-certified and dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of the people of our community.
